What’s New in Red5 Cloud v1.13.0?
Announced on February 27, 2026, the Red5 Cloud v1.13.0 update introduced the following updates.
New Features
- CORS configuration available in UI.
- Added interface to separately or independently configure Pub/Sub authentication (for the PubNub integration)
- Stream Manager now scales based on load and usage instead of connection counts.
- Sign up for Red5 Cloud via AWS Marketplace.
- Added node type Video Packager.
Improvements
- Added ability to select node group for TrueTime Meetings™.

- Video source information now distinguished by group name.
