The Red5 MOQ beta gives you early access to one of the first production-ready Media over QUIC streaming solutions at global scale. In this post, we explain what the beta includes, how it works, and how you can get access. You will also learn what to expect during onboarding and how to start testing with your own application.

About Red5 MOQ beta

red5 cloud and cachefly streaming solution overview

Red5 Cloud MOQ beta is one of the first end-to-end production-ready MOQ streaming solutions that operates at global scale. In addition to supporting multiple ingest protocols such as WebRTC, WHIP, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, and Zixi, delivering across CacheFly’s global network, and providing our MOQ-based player Playa, it makes it easy to deploy real-time streaming without managing infrastructure, scaling, monitoring, or performance optimization. This solution gives organizations and businesses a complete, flexible, fully managed architecture they can use today without being locked into a single protocol.

We are starting with a limited beta that is not publicly available yet. We want to grant access individually to make sure each setup is aligned with your use case. With that, the first part of this is going to be pretty exclusive just so we can fine tune based on set use cases that we are looking to solve first, namely real-time latency and a geographically diverse audience with one-to-many scale.

We already have a few companies that are testing the solution, and we’re looking for a few more. The focus here is not volume. It is working closely with teams that are pushing real-time streaming at scale and need to evaluate how MOQ fits into their architecture.

Please don’t be offended if you aren’t picked for the first round. We will be opening it up more as we go, and you are sure to get a spot soon.

How to Get Beta Access

Since the Red5 MOQ beta is not publicly available yet, we grant access individually to make sure each setup is aligned with your use case.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Reach out to us using this link
  2. Meet with our sales team to discuss your use case and confirm eligibility for the beta. Access is limited to selected teams with large-scale use cases (not solo practitioners). The beta runs for 30 days by default, with extensions available if your testing requires more time.
  3. Meet with our technical team to configure your beta access and get guidance on how to get started.

This process ensures you can test the Red5 MOQ beta in a way that reflects your real-world requirements and get the most value from early access.
