Video capture at the secure facility is handled on an isolated network, ensuring no persistent external connectivity. Red5 Pro runs in standalone “Castaway” mode, enabling live video monitoring with sub-250ms latency and providing DVR-style scrubbing and incident review directly within the secure environment. The platform supports composite camera views for situational awareness and retains recorded content for on-demand replay as needed.

Video on Demand (VOD): All Video on Demand (VOD) assets remain contained within the secure network until a scheduled transfer window. At an authorized time, a dedicated AWS Direct Connect link is activated, establishing a direct and encrypted connection to AWS GovCloud. VOD files are then transferred directly over this link, maintaining end-to-end encryption throughout the upload process. No data leaves the secure facility until expressly authorized and only traverses this purpose-built, secure channel. The firewall at the edge of the secure network prevents any incoming connections while the Direct Connect connection is active.

Live Streaming: For incidents requiring real-time coordination outside the secure perimeter, the same Direct Connect pathway is temporarily enabled for live video streams.
