What’s New in Red5 Pro v14.3.0?

  • Timestamps can now be added to recorded filenames, enabling better organization and traceability of recorded content.

  • Dynamic preprocessor beans have been added for the following resolutions: 180p, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2180p.
  • Exception logging for WHProxy is now clearer and more descriptive.
  • The testbed page now denies indexing by search engines via a robots.txt directive.
  • MP4 writing speed has been improved for faster file generation.

  • Correct nodegroup configuration is now displayed for active scheduled nodegroups.
  • Interstitial stream switching is now functional.
  • The forwarding proxy service is now fully operational.
  • Stream failover mechanisms are now working correctly: when one stream is published to two origins, an edge can switch to the backup if the primary fails.
  • Persist and Non Persist provisioning parameters now respond as expected.
  • Fixed regression bug with subscribing to Zixi broadcaster streams.

  • Social Pusher streams now push reliably to Facebook and Twitch.
  • The server now responds correctly to Swagger UI requests.
