QUESTION:

Can Red5 Pro handle HD streaming and how can I enable that?

ANSWER:

Red5 Pro is capable of handling HD streaming or even 4K.  The restrictions are not on our software but in the hardware you need for your application.  In order to stream HD video you will need the following:

• An HD capable device
• An application with adaptive bitrate enabled
• A strong enough network to handle the large, high-quality stream.  At the very least your network should be able to handle 4,500 kbps for a 1080p connection.
