What’s New in Red5 Pro v14.2.1?

Here is what you need to know about the Red5 Pro v14.2.1 update announced on June 6, 2025. 

Improvements

  • ios >=18.4.1 flv recordings now play back properly
  • Stream Manager Kafka topics use lower retention periods

Bug Fixes

  • Restreamer security parameters for persist now included
  • Zixi Push Restreamer not connecting
  • iOS subscribers may see a black screen

What’s New in Red5 Cloud v1.9.1?

Announced on June 9, 2025, the Red5 Cloud v1.9.1 update introduced the following enhancements and bug fixes. 

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

  • Node groups that have AWS credentials configured can now be modified and saved
  • Node groups that were scheduled and active are no longer showing an error status after being edited and saved
  • Baseline node group can now be successfully rebuilt when renewing a canceled subscription
