Red5 Welcomes Sylvio Jelovcich as Board Advisor

We’re thrilled to announce that Sylvio Jelovcich, a veteran of the streaming industry, is transitioning to a new role as Board Advisor at Red5 as he enters retirement. This move marks an exciting chapter for both Sylvio and our company as we continue to build ultra low latency real-time streaming solutions.

Sylvio brings a wealth of experience and accomplishments to this advisory position. His impressive track record includes:

– Building out all of Red5’s strategic partner relationships, developing partner go-to-market plans, and overseeing third-party offer development.

– Launching the SRT Open Source Alliance to standardize a video streaming protocol for the Broadcast Market, growing it to a 400+ global partner ecosystem, and accelerating mass adoption of SRT.

These achievements underscore Sylvio’s expertise in fostering industry relationships and driving technological innovation – skills that will continue to be invaluable in his new role.

As Board Advisor, despite stepping into retirement, Sylvio will remain an integral part of Red5’s relationships with major partners like Zixi, AWS, Magnify, Videon, Osprey, Nomad and other key players in the streaming space. His insights and guidance will help shape our strategic direction and strengthen our position as innovators in the field.

“I’m excited to take on this new role as Board Advisor at Red5 as I enter retirement,” says Sylvio. “The future of the company is incredibly bright, and I look forward to contributing to its continued growth and success in the rapidly evolving streaming landscape.”

At Red5, we’re committed to challenging the status quo and delivering cutting-edge solutions for our clients. Sylvio’s transition to Board Advisor, even as he retires from his full-time role, reinforces our dedication to staying at the forefront of live streaming technology and providing unparalleled value to our partners and customers.

We look forward to the continued collaboration with Sylvio in his new capacity and the positive impact his expertise will have on Red5’s future endeavors.
